wrong place, wrong life

How do i start? Introduction? too common...goals? i dont really have one.

How about how i feel?

well, where do i start. ever since i was little i always love to play outside. to indulge in the sun. to have fun and live a simple life. though it would have been better to grow up a little big richer so i could go to special classes like jazz or martial arts. i think thats the only part of my childhood that i regretted the most. but other than that, i felt that i've had an amazing childhood.

i was born in a poor family of eight. there was my mother and father, my older sister, two older brothers, me, two younger sisters but one got adopted out. which is cool in a way because she get to live is a good family, more blessed than us and it was only my aunt that adopted her so we can see her all we want.

i grew up in a small town of Kisolon, in the municipality of Sumilao, in the province of Bukidnon. we were poor but we have fun. i climed tree's all i want (we have plenty of them), play in the mud, shower in the rain and enjoy childhood like you should. Since i live in the poor country Philippines, computers and telephones didnt actually came into our existence until the year 2000's. because of the poorness of our country, it is up to us to entertain our selves. i cant express it enough i longed for those time. how i wish everything is as it was back then.

as years pass by, amazing things happened to us, to me. went through high school. got my first and second boyfriend, migrated here in new zealand and got my self a job. it wasnt much but i bought a car and a computer with it. i guess if you think about it, it would be almost impossible to buy the things i bought if i have the same job in philippines but i really miss the place. i never really appreciated how amazing that place was until i arrived here.

i remember the day when my dad phoned me just to tell me the news about our permanent residency approval and that we can come to new zealand anytime we like and i remembered telling him "as soon as possible". about a three to four months after that my dad came to take us. the thing was, we were given the option to come before or after Christmas. i regretted the vote that i gave, i never knew how boring holidays here in new zealand. it was probably one of the worst christmas is ever had. if you are reading this and you think nothing is wrong with the christmas in new zealand then you obviously never had a proper christmas.

let me tell you a few things about christmas in the philippines. first, the streets will light up with colorful christmas lanterns. those lanters are hand made, one by one, made by brilliant people. i cant even begin to tell you the feeling when you walk down the street lit by those things, and its not just a lantern. those starts are like recreation of the bright start that guide that three kings to the place where jesus christ was born. second, its not about the present its about the food. because we actually love our relatives, this day of the year, we celebrate together. as in, we gather in one house for the hoilidays and probably go to the beach the next day.

i should end it here.

bye~~~~
